During Teacher Planning Week, we have time to learn and plan with our colleagues. To make the best use of time of colleagues in multiple time-zones, meetings will be repeated. Key meetings are at 7am and repeated at 1pm BJ each day, so you can build a schedule that suits you and your team.

During Learning Leader prep days, we need to:
Understand WAB’s direction (and justifications) in 2020-21.
Understand how and why we will collaborate on the creation and implementation of quality hybrid learning experiences.
Understand sectional priorities for 2020-21 and teacher planning week and how you will support them through leadership.
Become familiar with Teams as our core platform for professional collaboration, online meetings and teaching & learning in grades 4-12.
Aug 19-28 Outcomes (Teacher Planning Week)
By the end of Teacher Planning Week (Aug 28), we need to:
Reconnect as a community & welcome our Newbies!
Understand WAB’s direction (and justifications) in 2020-21.
Collaboratively create and be ready to implement quality hybrid learning experiences, that meet the needs of students on campus and outside, and which make effective, sustainable use of our time.
Become familiar with Teams as our core platform for professional collaboration and online meetings.
Become familiar with Teams as our core platform for teaching & learning in grades 4-12.
ES Teachers become familiar with the e-learning platform they will be using (Seesaw or Toddle)
