Goal

To lead and support your team to oversee the preparation for your team’s pitch.

You need to coordinate everyone and make sure everything runs smoothly. You should be focused with productivity, planning, and coordinating the team. You are responsible for organising a lot of the logistics that go behind the preparation of the pitch. This can range from organising meetings, supporting and managing your team,

You need to make sure that everyone working meets the deadlines that are set and communicate with each other at the right time. You will also need to make sure that they have everything that they need.

You need to make sure that everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing and when they are supposed to be doing it. You should be well organised and work hard to have good interpersonal skills. You will need to have a way of keeping tabs on 'who needs to do what' and that needs to be something that can be updated and shared digitally

To put it simple you are the boss and your team depends on you to have organised all of the administration so that the rest of your team are able to dedicate their time to thinking about their specialist roles within the team.

Goal

To work out who your target market is going to be for this product. This will involve you looking at who your main competitors are in this Market place and work out how you are going to compete with these competitors.

You will also devise a launch strategy for the product that addresses the following questions:

Who will be your main customers?

How are you going to let your prospective customers know about your product?

Where are you going to sell it?

How are you going to advertise your product?


This will involve you working closely with each of your team members. You will need to take direction from your CEO and also offer them your expertise in terms of deciding on a Target Market and devising a launch strategy.

You will need to work closely with Finance to make sure you have a launch price for the product which suits the chosen target market and will compete well against your main competitors. You will also need to make sure that you have allocated money for advertising and the launch strategy.

You will need to talk to the person in charge of research and development so that they are clear on the target market which they are designing the product for and so that they can tell you about any unique selling points this product will have to give you the edge over your potential competitors.

Goal

You will need to lead the design and development of your groups product idea. This could be a physical product or a digital product such as an app or website. It could also be a combination of both digital and physical products.

While you will lead the development of this product all of your team members will need to contribute to the design idea. At the end of the day it will be your groups product. This will involve you working closely with each of your team members.

You will need to take direction from your CEO and also make sure that you clearly explain your design ideas.

You will need to talk to the person in charge of finance so that they can work out the costs involved in building your design in terms of materials, labour, tools and equipment.

You will need to work closely with Marketing to look at setting a price for the item and make sure that this is a reasonable price to charge considering the price of your main competitors and whether you will be able to make a profit at that price.

Goal

To work out the Finances behind your groups ideas. You will need to work out how much it will cost to make your product, how much you want to sell it for in order to make a profit, and finally you will need to work out how much money you want to ask the Dragons for and what percentage of the company you are going to offer to them.

This will involve you working closely with each of your team members. You will need to take direction from your CEO and give them guidance as to the financial viability of the product.

You will need to talk to the person in charge of research and development to work out what costs would be involved in developing the design of the product in terms of materials, labour, tools and equipment.

You will need to work closely with Marketing to look at setting a price for the item and make sure that this is a reasonable price to charge considering the price of your main competitors and whether you will be able to make a profit at that price.
