HS EdTech: Easy Rubric - iPad app for rubrics on the move

Tech Tools, tips, how-tos and resources for High School.

Why EasyRubric?

EasyRubric was developed by the PEGeek to make grading-on-the-go easier.

It can be used to grade student work on rubrics using a visual layout and exports the data as a spreadsheet.

It is easy to switch between students and checklist items on a task, and can also capture comments.

Getting Going...

Try This...

Make Your Own Task-Specific Rubric

  1. Download a template rubric
  2. Complete a row for each element of the TSC
    • In E.R. each row is one "criterion"
  3. Check all fields are correct
  4. Import to EasyRubric and test it out.

It takes a little work...

Notes:

  • The raw data will present a percentage overall - ignore it
  • Criterion levels are possible.

An easy workaround to use this app is to:

  1. Setup up (or import) the rubrics
  2. Setup the class lists
  3. Test out the grading
  4. Save the sheet in Excel or GoogleDrive
  5. Adjust scores by reducing the decimals to zero. It will round the criteria.
