Apple offers free professional learning opportunities for teachers through the Apple Teacher programme. Teachers at all levels can learn more about Apple tools with guided tutorials, and receive badges by taking the interactive quizzes in the Apple Teacher Learning Center. Collect all 8 badges in either iPad or Mac and you become a recognised Apple Teacher. Apple Teacher recognition is great to add to your CV, as it shows you have a certain level of fluency in Apple tools.
Those who are already proficient iPad/Mac users may find they can skip straight to the quizzes, and go through them in about an hour, total. You can take the quizzes as many times as you need, and each badge requires you to get at least 4/5 answers correct. Learn as you go with your device in front of you.
