ES Remote Learning Guidelines

Please refer to the Remote Learning Guidelines in the event of closure and a move to emergency remote learning.

If parents need assistance, please refer them to the Parent Guide, particularly Toddle and Teams.

Create Teams Meeting Links

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A MEETING LINK, YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP.

  1. Open Teams Calendar.
  2. Click New Meeting.
  3. Add title - <Your name> - Remote Learning (eg. Doug Taylor - Remote Learning)
  4. Add 'ES Teams' as an attendee.
  5. Change date to Wednesday > All Day.
  6. Repeat > Weekly.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click on the meeting > Edit Series.
  9. ... > Meeting Options.
  10. Set meeting options > Save.
  11. Close meetings.

Create Meetings in Toddle Calendar

 

  1. Open your class schedule.
  2. Go to your Teams Calendar > Wednesday all day > Click on meeting link > Copy.
  3. Go to Toddle > Calendar > Create meetings using your agreed schedule > Assign to students as appropriate.

 

 

 

 

 

Assign Learning Experiences on Toddle

 

  1. Go to your Toddle Class > Class Stream.
  2. Review your 3 essential learning experiences to ensure they are designed appropriately for remote learning.
  3. Assign your learning experiences to the students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet with Students on Microsoft Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams app.
  2. Go to Wednesday > All Day > Remote learning Meeting link > Launch Meeting.
  3. Start recording.
  4. Remember to click 'End meeting' when the meeting is over.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Taking Attendance

  1. Click on your meeting in Teams Calendar > Edit Series.
  2. Click on Attendance.
  3. Choose the meeting date.
  4. Click Download.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Provide Feedback on student work

  1. Go to Toddle Class > Class Stream > Learning Experience.
  2. Review evidence submitted by students.
  3. Leave written or verbal feedback.
  4. Mark as complete when the task is done.
  5. Push to journal as appropriate.
